Gmail is a very interesting new approach on e-mail. One of its more useful features is to allow you to attach Labels to different conversations. To facilitate Labels, Gmail allows you to specify Filter rules to do many things, one of which is to automatically Label incoming mail.

One of the major irritations is that Gmail's web interface for creating filters is geared toward a single sender. While this works well for mailing lists which have well-defined and consistent characteristics, it fails badly for groups of individuals.

Gmail actually supports very complicated filter expressions, and this tool will allow you to specify a list of e-mail addresses and get back a filter expression that you can then plug back into Gmail's Filter screen.
